Can anyone recommend some reputable companies who offer managed hosting? There seem to be so many out there and so many websites claim to provide user reviews and rankings – but I have not found any to be helpful in differentiating between them – any advice? Thanks!

Startlogic. This one comes up on the top in all the comparisons. I use them myself. They offer the best price you will find and they have 24/7 customer service BY PHONE as well as chat or email.
If you decide to go with them you can do so directly but I ask you to please go through my site. They have a referral program and if I refer enough people I can get a years free hosting. If you choose them….so could you. You only have to refer three people.

The best that I’ve dealt with are Rackspace and DataReturn.
For my personal stuff and some NPOs that I help out, I use Godaddy.

I Highly Recommend this company I honestly just spent WEEKS on reviewing a whole bunch of different ones..I was starting to get confused…some offered things others did not…I really wanted someone that had EVERYTHING…so I ended up going to a company I work with on other things…and they recommended me to a site…that HONESTLY I cannot find what they don’t have …I love them and very excited…look around…but I went to the Compare page and that’s what really did it for me…but I read more than just that….here is the link :
