What can i use to manage my files from web hosting?

Currently i use FTP client and then edit each file with text editor. I would prefer something more functional. Maybe an IDE tool. My web files are in PHP, JS, XML, HTML, CSS. Of course would prefer open-source. Please help me.
Need to run it on Windows

Bluefish is an open source, free editor made by the same folks who create and support OpenOffice. It features support for all of the languages and scripts you listed. You can find Bluefish here:

Adobe Dreamweaver CS4 work for all, edited the code, transfer the file from locally to the FTP site.

You can download the trial version for 30 days.

I use FileZilla FTP client to upload.edit/delete the files of my website. You can also upload/edit/delete files from the file management system provided on your hosting provider’s account.

You can actually host your own DNS servers – even if I’m not sure that’s a very good idea cause it’s a real full time job…

In that way, you won’t have to pay anyone. Also, while it’s highly recommended that you have two DNS servers, for fault tolerance, it’s not a requirement.

My best advice would be that you can use the Windows DNS server to do so, and you can even host the DNS server on the same machine as the Web server. All you need to do thiis is forwarding DNS connections to the IP address of your Web server on your private network.

In your domain configuration, you’ll ask to point to the IP address on the public interface of your router for your DNS server.

Well , there is hostgator , google host yahoo and godaddy.
But the most recommended and best web host so far is http://www.networkjuicehosting.com ; Network Juice.

They now offer plans starting around $0.99 for a great amount of diskspace plus everything else unlimited. Plus they’ve manage to keep up 99% Uptime.

They have all features such as PHP5, Cpanel , Fantastico , Cron Job , Apache ,Unlimited Dadabase , ftp accounts and much more.

There are other affordable plans as well in Networkjuicehosting.com.

Hostgator.com is also a great host , but there Uptime time is not so good. Also , customer service is very poor.

Google.com not so sure , But i know there’s lots of files they do not support , no Cpanel , and i don’t know how come , but they have been receiving downtimes lately in their host servers.

yahoo , let me just say it’s the worst web host ever. Including FatCow.com. The downtown time is way to much , and many files are un-compatible in fatcow for some reason.

To buy a domain , the most recommended site is godaddy , but not for it’s hosting!! I Tell you !!!.

For a Great Affordable web host with maximum features , the most recommended web host is http://www.networkjuicehosting.com . ; Network Juice Hosting.

You are getting your answers from an expert , and yes I have tried all these web host.

That’s all I got to say mate ;)
